Visual Programming

Many cobots, such as the Universal Robots allow to be programmed via Teach Pendent. It allows to create programs by dragging the robot in a position by hand, moving it by pushing arrows on the screen, and adding basic programming logic such as variables, loops and if/else statements.

For simple, repetitive tasks and choreographies this method is often the most straight-forward. This method was used in the spray painting project with Pinaffo–Pluvinage and for linear motions in the workshop with Taiyo Onorato.
