Defining a Plane
A plane refers to a flat, two-dimensional surface in three-dimensional space where robotic movements can occur. It serves as a reference point or boundary for the robot’s motion and positioning.
Defining Planes makes it a lot easier to navigate in 3D-Space. For instance, if you want to draw on a paper, you will define the surface of this paper as your working plane. A corner of your paper will become the origin of the coordinate system in which the robot moves. Now you can make your drawing with much simpler instructions than if the origin of the coordinate system would be on the base of the robot.
